Stay-at-Home Advisory Extended

Dear Valued Clients,

On Tuesday, March 31, Governor Charlie Baker announced that he will extend the stay-at-home advisory until May 4, 2020.

We are praying for a Tuesday, May 5, opening, however, with all the uncertainty of the Coronavirus pandemic we have decided to not reschedule any appointments at this time until we are one-hundred percent certain of a firm reopen date.

In the meantime, if we can assist you with any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out by phone, text, email or video messaging.

Again, thank you so much for your love, support, and understanding during this time. We miss all of you and miss being in the salon.

Stay Safe and Healthy,
Sanela and the team

If you have an appointment at Sanela Salon, have recently traveled and/or find your health is somewhat compromised, we would suggest you rest and take care of your health. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

We greatly appreciate your assistance and understanding as we learn more about the Coronavirus.

Sanela Catovic

Sanela Catovic, a Bosnian refugee and now a master hair stylist and owner of Sanela Salon, was initially drawn to Boston for its European vibes as well as its opportunities. From there, it was only a short matter of time before Catovic opened the doors to Sanela Salon in 2011. Catovic steadfastly holds to her mission of creating the ultimate experience in hair care while helping clients discover their personal style. Moreover, Catovic embraces the artistic side of the beauty industry and, along with her staff, is constantly pushing herself to learn new trends in color and cuts. Catovic credits her clients and her salon family for being such an amazing influence in her life. “Their continued support touches me and motivates me daily to learn and grow and brings me to where I am today: a refugee, an immigrant and a woman living the American dream,” she says.

Mid-Winter Dry Hair

Winter Hair

It’s just about now, mid-winter, we start noticing how bone dry our hair and skin are. The cold outside air and the manufactured heat indoors strips our hair of all its moisture, leaving it dry and causing breakage. We often hear the cry, “what’s happening to my hair?” You do not have to live with dry hair. We hope these solutions will bring back the luster in your hair! Ask your stylist! Your stylist knows you and your hair. Who better to check with during this challenging weather?
